Do you relish the opportunity to ditch the saucepans and dine out? If so, I completely understand. Frankly, I'll use any excuse to down cooking utensils and head out. But, dining out presents a unique challenge - how do you balance your desire for an enjoyable dining experience with your desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

Buffets play a big part in celebrations; they're a convenient way to feed big groups of people. How many times do we leave a buffet feeling like we've eaten far too much? Professor Brian Wansink, an expert in the psychology of eating, has investigated the behaviours of eaters at buffets. Based on the problem areas Wansink identified I've created a range of useful recommendations for buffet eating.

Overeating at parties is a very real risk and when you add up all the parties you might attend in a year, Christmas, New Years, birthdays, and other celebrations - gaining unwanted weight is a very real risk! Rather than just cross my fingers and pray, I've developed a plan of attack for approaching parties. Try using the same approach in your endeavours to survive those big parties.
